Thara Capital
Financial education setting

What Sets This Room Apart

There are many ways to encounter financial information. What Thara Capital offers is something more specific — structured, contextualised education for adults whose financial lives have already been underway for some time.

Six Reasons People Choose Thara Capital

No product sales, ever

Every session is purely educational. No facilitator holds a referral arrangement with any financial product provider.

Small groups, real conversation

Sessions are capped at 14 participants. Large seminars and webinars do not allow this kind of engagement.

Grounded in Thailand

Thai instruments, Thai regulatory context, Thai household examples. Not a translated Western curriculum.

Practitioners, not academics

Facilitators bring real professional experience — equity research, household finance, estate considerations — not theoretical frameworks alone.

Paced for adult learners

There is no pressure to absorb everything at once. The structure invites reflection, and the printed materials support continued reading at home.

Designed for real households

The programmes address multi-generation household dynamics, eldercare considerations, and succession — questions that most financial education ignores.

Each Benefit, Explained

Facilitated by Working Professionals

The Thara Capital team brings combined decades of professional experience across equity research, household financial planning, and estate advisory. This is not incidental — it shapes the way topics are explained and the way participant questions are received.

When a participant asks why equity returns differ across market cycles, the facilitator can draw on direct experience of those cycles, not just a textbook account of them.

  • Minimum ten years professional experience per facilitator
  • Relevant professional qualifications maintained
  • Ongoing review of Thai regulatory and market developments
  • Practitioners who have worked directly with household and institutional clients
  • Each programme designed as a complete unit, not a series of disconnected talks
  • Printed materials prepared and reviewed before each cycle
  • Feedback collected after every session and applied to the next cycle
  • Registration kept deliberately small to maintain quality

Carefully Built, Carefully Run

Thara Capital's programmes are not assembled ad hoc. Each one has been developed over multiple cycles, with participant feedback shaping the content and structure.

The materials are updated before each cycle to reflect any relevant changes in the Thai regulatory environment or market conditions. Participants receive current, relevant content — not materials that were accurate three years ago.

A Considered Participant Experience

From the first enquiry to the end of the programme, the experience is designed with the participant in mind. Enquiries receive a reply within one working day. Questions before registration are welcome and are taken seriously.

During sessions, participants are encouraged to ask questions in Thai if that is more comfortable. The room is organised to support conversation, not performance.

  • Pre-registration telephone call available on request
  • Questions in Thai welcomed during sessions
  • Printed materials in English and Thai
  • Cancellation and transfer policy handled with care
  • Transparent pricing per programme — no hidden charges
  • Printed materials included in programme fee
  • No upsell to financial products or advisory services
  • Cancellation refund available with adequate notice

Pricing That Is Honest and Complete

Programme fees range from ฿5,400 to ฿11,300 and include all session materials. There is no separate charge for the printed glossary, worksheet, or conversation guide — and no follow-on product to purchase at the end.

The fee covers what is offered. Nothing more is expected of participants after the programme ends.

Distinctive Features of These Programmes

The Three-Generation Conversation

No other programme in Bangkok that we are aware of addresses the financial dynamics between three generations of a Thai household in a structured, facilitated format. This programme exists because participants told us, over several years, that they needed it.

A Printed Glossary of Thai Financial Terms

The glossary produced for the Equities programme has been developed over eight years and draws on both English and Thai language financial terminology. Participants describe it as one of the most useful things they take home.

Unhurried Reflection as a Design Principle

Most financial education is designed for maximum information transfer. Thara Capital's programmes are designed for understanding — which is a slower, more personal process. Participants are explicitly encouraged to reflect rather than decide during the session itself.

No Follow-Up Sales Contact

After a programme ends, Thara Capital does not contact participants to sell further services. Participants may return to future programmes of their own accord, and they are welcome to. But there is no commercial follow-up process.
